Worker Operations Tracking and Appraisal System (WoTA)

WoTA is an AI-driven system for weaving mills to obtain real-time data and analytics on performance metrics, such as:

  • Tracking looms for efficiency, RPM, and production meters.
  • Tracking weavers/fitters — fixing time, active presence in the allocated area, idle time, and number of fixes.
  • Monitoring worker attendance — in/out time, break time, idle time, and overtime.

Challenges in India's Manufacturing Industry Today

India’s manufacturing industry is expanding rapidly, but persistent challenges hinder its full potential. From workforce constraints to operational inefficiencies, these obstacles affect productivity and competitiveness.

WoTA is built from the ground up to tackle these challenges head-on.

Weaver Status, Allocation and Zones

In WoTA, a zone is the area where all the looms allocated to a weaver are situated. Supervisors can assign weavers to specific zones:

Zone – term introduced by Doodil2r, a zone refers to the designated area where all the looms assigned to a specific weaver are situated.
  • WoTA monitors a worker's presence, absence, and idle state with respect to their allocated zone.
  • WoTA tracks the real-time movement of weavers between zones.
  • Weaver reallocation to zones is dynamically managed through the WoTA app, with visibility and control for the management.

Loom data collection / Loom Efficiency monitoring

  • For each breakage, WoTA tracks the time and type of stoppage, fixing time, and who fixed it.
  • Live alerts on undue delays are conveyed to the concerned authorities.
  • Real-time insights on loom performance are displayed on the WoTA mobile app, portals, and TV screens on the floor.
